British Airways, Olympic Airlines, Air Transat, Aegean Airlines and Easyjet have flights from London and Manchester to Athens Airport.

Visit the Parthenon builiding and other temples and monuments at the Acropolis (“upper city”).

Athens is a city full of history, so as well as the Acropolis Museum, there are many more museums to visit, including: the National Archaeological Museum, the Byzantine Museum,  the Museum of Greek Musical Instruments and the Benaki Museum.

For some outdoor sights, head for the Theatre of Dionysus, the ancient Agora market place, the Panathenaic Stadium, or the Temple of Olympian Zeus. That should keep you busy.
